My Thoughts of Texas Roads by Cathy Bryant.

In this past month I did an interview and giveaway with Cathy Bryant, author of Texas Roads. I was sent a copy of this book to review as well. Below are my thoughts on it. It does not contain any spoilers:)

I am always kind of scared to read a debut novel. To me, authors always get better after a few books and normally the first book is kind of plain and it often doesn't flow.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one:) The dialogue was great, the characters were very likeable and the book flowed!! I was very drawn into the book and liked it. I am also very picky on what I read as far as what is in them and the Gospel message. This one passed the test. I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars. The only thing I wish was not in the book was something in a relationship. I don't want to spoil it as this is one of the mysteries surrounding the young lady so I won't go into detail. And Cathy does a great job not going into detail! To me the book was a good read. Will definitely watch for the next one in the series:) Way to go Cathy!
