Tiffany Stockton's Thoughts and Book Giveaway!

Readers, today we have with us Tiffany Stockton. She has offered to giveaway a copy of her book, Liberty's Promise.

Thank you for being with us today, Tiffany!
How long have you been writing?
I have been writing and telling stories since I was a child, but my first publication happened at age 16, and I began pursuing a professional career after college.

Are you a regimented writer? Or do you just write when you get the time? :)
I used to have a daily schedule and a set time, but now, with a toddler, husband and household duties, I have resorted to a daily word count whenever I can fit in the writing time. Sometimes it's in the wee hours of the morning or late at night, but usually, it occurs during naptime.

What do you want readers to come away with when they are done reading your books?
I would love to see them inspired by the stories they read and encouraged in their daily walk with God, to know that He is always there and will never leave or forsake us, no matter how difficult life may get.

Do you have a place you have always wanted to visit? A historical monument, overseas, vacation spot, etc?
Well, considering I have now visited 41 of the 50 states in the US, as well as 4 countries, what's left is rather narrow. Smile emoticon But Hawaii and Alaska would be nice, as would Europe, especially Rome, London, Scotland and Ireland.

If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be? Historical or future?
I would love to meet Mary, the mother of Jesus, to talk with her about the experience of carrying the Son of God and raising Him to fulfill His ministry and calling. She was so faithful, despite the potential for being thrown out of her community and disowned by her family and betrothed. Yet, she remained true to the calling on her life and helped pave the way for our Savior.

At what event would you love to have been present?
Hmm, I'm assuming this would be even if I wasn't alive. So, as a history buff, I'd have to say at the 2nd Continental Congress, during the time when the Constitution of our United States was being written and revised, as well as at the signing of our Declaration of Independence. I've read accounts of that time, and it thrills me to imagine being there to witness it. What a shame we've all but spit in the faces of our founding fathers and made a mockery of almost everything they created.

And any last thoughts for your readers?
Quite often, I am asked by readers what they can do to help, so I almost always answer with requests to spread the word if you've read a book you've loved, write a review online, and of course buy the books. But even above that, if an author you love has a way for you to get in touch with him/her, take the time to write. A great many authors live a rather solitary existence, so hearing directly from readers is not only a blessing, but an encouragement as well. It helps us know what we're doing is truly touching lives and making a difference. In this world of so much rejection, it's quite a boost to receive a note or letter from readers saying how a book we wrote touched their lives. Helps us keep going.

Where can they connect with you?
Readers can always find me online at my web site (, my blog (, Facebook (, or on Twitter ( But I pop up in a lot of other places too. You just never know where you might see me. Smile emoticon

Thank you so much for being with us!!

Wow! Look at all these new potential readers. It's SO exciting to "meet" all y'all here. If you're interested, you can keep up with me at my web site and blog, or on Facebook and Twitter. I'd love to hear from you if you do read one of my books.

It's always a pleasure to interact with my readers and hear your thoughts, likes, dislikes, etc. After all, you're the reason I can keep writing. If I didn't have readers, I wouldn't have a career. So, my sincere thanks and appreciation goes to each one of you.

I'm here to serve, and honored that you dropped by.
