One of our all time favorite meals is Chicken Fajita's. And we always love using seasoning in it. But the big thing we don't like is all the extra sodium that normally comes along with seasoning. So, we use a low-sodium or salt free seasoning. And one of our favorites is Mrs. Dash.
We always use chicken breast or steak strips. The chicken really soaks up the seasoning so that is what we prefer. I grill it in a skillet along with green pepper and onion. The seasoning normally doesn't take a lot. But that all depends on who is doing the cooking:) I love lots of flavor while others in our family do not care for so much.
After grilling the chicken until it is done, I put the meat in a tortilla and add sour cream, lettuce, tomato's and salsa. This is one of our favorite meals.
Another thing I like to do is add Mrs. Dash seasoning to salads. I make a mean salad with lots of goodies, onion, green pepper, cucumber, radish, celery, carrots, and then add a "dash" of seasoning. It really adds a lot to the salad. And it doesn't add any salt! That is what I love about these seasonings!! I do not have many problems with salt but some people in our family have problems with blood pressure. So I can go in and use Mrs. Dash seasoning and not have to worry about adding trouble into the meal.
