The Crossmaker DVD Review + Giveaway!

Hi everyone,
I have worked with See The Light before on one of their other DVD's so I was happy to review their newest one, The Crossmaker, when I was offered to. These are good for the whole family and I love watching them.

SEE THE LIGHT
THE EASTER STORY: Dominic, the son of a carpenter, finds himself drawn into the unforgettable
trial of the man called Jesus. Share in this amazing adventure that takes Dominic from Christ's
crucifixion to a place of redemption, and a face-to-face meeting with the risen Christ.

See The Light chalk artist Gloria Kohlmann draws her stunning interpretation of the Easter story.

2. HE IS NOT HERE! HE IS RISEN! See The Light Art Club Master Teacher Pat Knepley leads

3. THREE CROSSES ON A HILL. See The Light's Jim Pence gives a tutorial in water colors as young artists discover The Joy of Art

MY REVIEW-I have always been a fan of chalk artists. They seem to make pictures come alive and it really appeals to children! Again, as with my last review I am very pleased with this DVD. See the Light does a very good job with portraying what really happened and I love their Gospel message! Clear but simple enough for a child to understand. The story line also keeps a child's interest. With children sitting there paying attention to someone telling a story, they are more inclined to do this.

The music is beautiful and calming. Very nice! The pictures though are one of my favorite things about this film. Look at this! The other thing I really liked about this is the lessons given. There are actually lessons to help train a child how to draw with chalk or watercolors! Wonderful way to get them interested!! I watched this part and they talk in a manner that children can understand easily and effectively. This is a great program for a homeschool family or if your children are interested in chalk drawing. Wonderful learning tool!!

Overall, this is a film I would recommend. The portrayal of Christ's crucifixion is done in a manner that shows what happened but not enough to scare a child. Thank you for a beautiful film!!
