Homeowner at Last!

I’ve been looking for houses for over a year now and I’ve finally settled on the bungalow of my dreams! It’s just up the street from my current apartment and I already love the area I live in, so I think it’s going to be a perfect fit. I recently found some good wireless internet service offers and signed up for one, expecting to find the home of my dreams scouring MLS listings or looking at Zillow for new houses in the neighborhood. Turns out, the way I found the house was by walking my dog! We happened to be walking by just as the owner was putting out the sign – luckily for both of us it was for sale by owner so we didn’t even have to pay realtor fees! He let me take a tour of the place right then and there and I knew I’d found the house for me. We’re now in escrow and I can’t wait to move and get settled into my new life as a real live homeowner!
