Ayurvedic Roast Coffee Substitute Review + Giveaway!

I love a good cup of coffee!! Whether it is in the morning to get my day going or in the evening when I sit down with a book:) I like it iced or hot. I love it!! So I was overjoyed when I was able to review a sample pack of coffee from Ayurvedic Roast Coffee Substitute. They are also offering a giveaway:)

One of my big things with coffee is the caffeine. I love coffee and the flavor but the caffeine is something I do not like. I occasionally get headaches and I think the caffeine is probably the cause. I saw what this coffee company was all about and I just have to tell you about it!! Ayurvedic Coffee is not really coffee! It is a coffee substitute and doesn't have any caffeine at all!! I was shocked! And then I guess I was figuring it wouldn't taste like coffee so why even bother trying it. Let me tell you about it below.

Ayurvedic Roast is a 100% Certified Organic herbal coffee substitute that tastes like real coffee with no caffeine. It is the best tasting herbal coffee alternative currently available, and includes three antioxidant, adaptogenic, and immunity-enhancing organic ayurvedic herbs.

The package I got in is enough for three cups. I have used it twice. Once in Iced Coffee and once for regular, hot coffee. I am not exactly sure what I was expecting but I didn't think it would taste like regular coffee. I am kind of picky and I like the exact amount of sugar and it HAS to be flavored creamer, vanilla is my favorite.

The first time I had it hot. I brewed one cup and put in 3 teaspoons. The directions say you can do 3 teaspoons or tablespoons. I wanted to try it a little bit weaker at first, especially as I wasn't sure what I was in for. Once it was done brewing I poured and added my creamer and sugar. It smelled like normal coffee so I was excited about trying it. Wow!! You can't taste a difference! There might be a slight texture difference but it was very minimal and I barely noticed it. Only because I was so worried about it being different did I notice this. The taste is very full and rich. It tasted like a cup of coffee!!

For my iced cup, it was the same way. No taste difference and in the cold cup, I couldn't even detect a texture difference. It looks like any normal cup of coffee.

So, my opinion? This is better for you by far!! No caffeine and organic so it doesn't have all those nasty chemicals! This is definitely the way to go:)

The amounts of the herbs added are not at a medicinal level: so it is safe to drink regularly
