Kick up Your Heels!! Or Rather, Your Heelys!

There really are so many new items and products coming out it is amazing. We live in a day when there are new things popping out all the time. Well, this product I have today is kind of new. I know they have been out for a little bit but they are new to me. And I have to tell you, these Heelys were supposed to be for me, but the size was wrong so my younger sister, M, has tried them out. This is a little bit hard for her as she kept wanting to use them like skates. But they are definitely not skates and I think she will get better as she uses them.

I personally picked out the colors and I thought they were really cute. Of course, they don't fit me but I like how the colors blend and look good together. There are instructions on how you change the shoes to have wheels or not and M uses hers a lot without the wheels and just as regular sneakers. I think they look nice like that as well. Below is a video. It shows her starting off with help and then the second part is where she makes a go of it by herself:) Again, she is young and just starting so don't be too hard on her.

The one problem I have with these shoes is they can't be used much on our road or in our town. The wheels work best when you are on a really flat, smooth surface. Our road is a gravel type road and the wheels keep catching, so the video is done inside and that is where she has been using them. I do like that you can easily take the wheels out, using the tool they give you, to have these as regular sneakers.

For those of you interested in Heelys, these would make great gifts! They are also running a Black Friday special!! Between Nov 25-Nov 28, Buy any pair of Heelys, get the second pair for $25. Or buy a Nano, and get a pair of shoes for $25, and get free ground shipping on all orders!
These will really make some child happy and I think they would be fun for adults as well. There are a lot of different styles and colors to pick from. I would suggest checking out the Heelys store if you want something different.

In accordance with FTC Disclosure, I received a pair of Heelys for review purposes. I did not receive any monetary compensation. All thoughts are 100% mine.
