Small Space Organizing Book Tour!

I have to tell you, we live in a somewhat small house for the people living in it. So when this book came in, it was right down my alley!! Check it out and make sure to read my review below:)

MY REVIEW-If you are someone who needs help organizing, this is the book for you. If you have a small space and need help organizing, this is definitely your number one book! Small Space Organizing is good for anyone who needs help with this area. But if you have a small amount of space, it is excellent. I swear Kathryn Bechen wrote this book with our family in mind. Many of the ideas and tips she brings up really ring true. I am going to tell you some of the ones I really enjoyed, but believe me, there is so much more to this book:)

The number one area which she covered that really helped me was the bathroom spaces. We have a small bathroom. It has a tub but the tub takes up most of the room. As I am sure you can imagine, it gets tight in there. Trying to fit a blow dryer, iron, toiletries, towels, bathroom cleaners, and the endless other items, takes great planning. In this book Kathryn gives some tips such as, have plastic bins under the sink for each person. This is something I had thought of before, but not for each person. I was thinking more along the lines of one for soaps, one for shampoo, one for lotions, etc. But people were always pulling out exactly what they needed and then it was being put back in another bin, etc. But with this idea each person is responsible for their own bin and products.

She gives quite a few other bathroom etiquette tips that made a lot of sense to me. Now some of them would not fit in our house, such as the ladder she suggests to use for hanging up towels, we would never be able to fit one in our bathroom:) But it might work for someone else! I also liked her ideas for the bedroom and the closet. Excellent well-thought out plans. You can tell this is a lady who knows her stuff. So, if you are in search of a book with organizing ideas for small spaces, get this book!!
