Greased Lightning Review & Giveaway!

Have you ever had the stain that just won't go away? I know how it is when a child spills something or the sink just won't come clean. So I was overjoyed when I received this next product to try. Greased Lightning is a multi-purpose cleaner and degreaser. Super strength and removes even the toughest of stains! So, I have given it a try and will let you know more about my experience below. But do know this, I was also sent a coupon for a totally free product that I will be giving away to one of my readers!! Yep, you will be able to get a 32 or 40 oz bottle of Greased Lightning for free. So don't go away!

The original Greased Lightning formula is time-tested for superior cleaning and stain-fighting power. Greased Lightning conquers the toughest stains and can be used throughout the home.
Suggested Uses:
  • Cut through grime on stove vents, ovens and microwaves.
  • Remove red wine, pet stains and dirt from everyday traffic on carpets.
  • Use as a laundry pretreat for tough stains including grease, grass and ink.
  • Tackle soap scum and mildew stains in the shower.
  • Revitalize patio furniture by removing dirt and outdoor debris.

So, sounds almost too good to be true, right? I know cleaning the house I often need something that is good on stains and doesn't take a whole lot of scrubbing. So I tried this on several spots around the house. One is an area behind the kitchen sink. This spot gets so dirty and gets crusted food, etc on it. You know how it is. I often wipe it down but it never does the job. And this was my first spot to head with this cleaner.

It did an okay job here. As you can see from the before and after pictures, there is still a little bit it didn't take off. But I did not scrub real hard either. I wanted to try this and just see how it worked. I know some spots are not going to come off unless you use bleach on them. And I use bleach but I try to be careful around the kitchen sink and dishes. My next spot was the bathroom. Do you know how dirty a bathroom sink can get? Let me tell you, ours can get pretty nasty! So I headed in there next to see how it worked.

I couldn't believe it!! It cleaned the sink like it was brand new. It almost sparkles in the after picture:) I was impressed with how easily this stuff came off. I used a paper towel and just wiped. I didn't even have to scrub. I believe this cleaner would be great for the areas that are not porous like the wall behind the kitchen sink. I think that is why it didn't clean as well.

This cleaner also says it can be used as a laundry pretreat. I did not try this but I will be trying it in the future. I normally don't have a problem with stains on my clothing but it will come in handy when I need it.

Overall this is a cleaner I will be using often in the future. I like how it pretty much wipes right off without having to scrub. It has a pleasant odor that is not real strong. I was impressed with it and I will stand behind it as a good product to use in the home. Get your entries in below for the free coupon!! This will be for US only as I am shipping the coupon.

I received a product for review purposes. I did not receive any monetary compensation. All thoughts are 100% mine. Giveaway ends 2/17. Winner will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be chosen. Please pay attention for a winner email as I have had winners not respond recently. I normally email twice just to give the winner a chance but my Purex winner never responded so I had to pick a second winner. Please look for my emails!
