What Do You Find Under Your Car Floor Mats?

I don't know about you, but the car is one place I like to keep clean. You never know when you will need to give a ride to someone or a relative visits:) So we daily visit the local car wash and cleaner. We do most of the cleaning at the house, but believe me, sometimes it is nice to go to the cleaners. Anyways, one area I am very picky about is the car floor mats. They often get stepped on, food mashed in, etc. And I am not even going to talk about the sand. It is horrendous and is so hard to get out! Even with a vaccum cleaner it is like getting sand in your hair. I hate it! So the floor mats are my top priority in cleaning the vehicle and keeping it that way. I take them out when they are getting bad and wash them out. The plastic ones are best but I know some cars have the other type of mats. It is best to clean them right away after a trip or even once during the trip as well. Prevention is better than trying to clean it up days later.

I remember one time we had gone to clean the vehicle at a local car wash. This was back when we had a smaller car:) But we went through the car wash and then went over to the vaccum area. You know, the big vaccums and the large garbage cans? Well, the kids were starting to get hungry by this time but we told them to wait until after we had finished the vehicle. Come to find out, by the time we were done cleaning out under the car mats, we had enough change to take them to lunch! Fast food but still lunch:) So believe me when I say, clean out under your car mats, you never know what you will find under them!
