Blue Smoke Salsa Basket Review & Giveaway!!

One food I absolutely love for a snack or with a meal, is chips and salsa. They taste delicious, are overall a healthy snack and are quite diverse. You have so many options to choose from. Blue Smoke Salsa recently sent me a basket of products that I couldn't wait to try! And for those of you who like chips and salsa, Robin has graciously offered to host a giveaway for a basket like mine. You are going to love this!!

Freshness and outstanding taste is what you'll find in every jar of Blue Smoke Salsa. We use only local, fresh ingredients to create a flavor that's as distinct as it is familiar. From mountain sweetness to heat from the hills, and everything in between, our products capture the taste of home.

Blue Smoke Salsa is a company that is devoted to quality gourmet salsa. And the thing I like most is that they are all natural. Only fresh ingredients! I love that when I can eat something and not worry about extra sugar or additives.

I couldn't believe when I received my package and I am expecting a jar or two of salsa. I thought the box was a bit big but I never expected this. Look at this gift basket!!

Included in the basket was a bag of the Guacamole Chips, Peach Salsa(medium), Mild and Hot Sweet Onion Jalapeno. Let me tell you, I couldn't wait to get into them and since it arrived right near lunch time, guess what I had with my lunch? You guessed it:) Chips and salsa. And I couldn't stop the rest of the family from diving into them either.

I am not real big on very hot foods. I like a little bit of a kick but nothing really spicy. Needless to say, the Hot Salsa was too spicy for me. But my dad happened to like this one. My favorite was the Mild Salsa. This has a somewhat sweet taste and strong onion flavor. I liked it!! I tried it with the guacamole chips and with regular chips. I think the guacamole chips actually have a good taste to them and compliment the salsa nicely. The kids wouldn't go near them as they don't like guacamole nor did they care for the green color. I didn't mind as that meant more for me:) A whole bag full!

The peach salsa was out least favorite. I have never been really keen on peach salsa but I gave it a try. I don't really mind the taste but it just was not a hit. I have a lot of friends who eat peach salsa and love it but I just never have. Maybe it is an acquired taste, huh? It has a very sweet yet tangy taste to it, probably from the mix of peach and onion. I do like how if you eat this salsa, you are getting a good amount of peaches in it. As you can see from the close up picture, this is loaded with fresh peaches!

Blue Smoke Salsa is a company that I am very impressed with. Great products and good standards. You can't beat a small business and I would go with them any day over a big company. They have been featured in local magazines and they have received numerous awards for this salsa.

Everyone, Robin has agreed to give one of my blog readers the same basket I received. This would make an excellent gift for someone or even if you want to keep it for yourself. I know I loved mine! Nothing like getting a gift in the mail!! So, get your entries in below through the Rafflecopter form.

Giveaway will end 4/20. Winner will be chosen through Random.org and they will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be chosen.
US ONLY!!
I received product from Blue Smoke Salsa for review purposes. I did not receive any monetary compensation, nor was I obliged to give positive feedback. All thoughts are 100% mine.
