MyFitnessPal and Dieting

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share with you a website I found that I am really enjoying. How many of you are trying to diet or watch what you eat? I am not really dieting but I do try to watch my portions and make sure I exercise every day. But I have to tell you, it is really amazing how much you find yourself eating in a day! That is where MyFitnessPal steps in and helps you keep track of your calories and how much you have eaten.

Once you fill out your profile, this is all free, you then go in every day and put in what you have eaten. There is an area for all your meals and snacks. Then you have a separate area for exercise. It also tracks how much water you have had that day! I am telling you, I like this website! It has helped me cut back on my food as I am seeing how much I was consuming in a day. Even the little snacks that you don't think much of, they all add up to extra calories.

If you are trying to lose weight or eat better, I would suggest joining this site. There is no cost at all and I have enjoyed using it. There are forums where you can chat with other people struggling with the same battles, and you can get friends on there to encourage each other. MyFitnessPal is a great site and I am using it every day. Come join me!! Please message me if you want to be friends on there.

I use this website daily. I was not compensated in any way for this post. All thoughts are 100% mine.

I LOVE MyFitnessPal! I have lost eight pounds by using it and have seven more to go. I previously lost 43 pounds on WW and stopped using it because I could not afford the monthly fee anymore due to the economy. That's why MFP is so great. I also like how it breaks things down by carbs, protein, fiber, etc. I quickly started losing weight when I started getting enough protein and fiber and slacked off on the carbs. Much better than the point system.
