Food Family Style Blog Tour!

In a time when the family meal is increasingly losing out to music lessons, sports practices, and the general busyness of life, it's time to rediscover the joys of cooking and eating together as a family. Time may be short and budgets may be tight, but these 365 mouthwatering recipes are sure to draw families into the kitchen and around the table day after day. From tasty breakfasts, soups, and salads to sumptuous main dishes and desserts, Food Family Style delivers just what readers' families ordered.

Throughout the book are symbols indicating recipes that double easily, freeze well, are gluten-free or vegetarian, can be made in a slow cooker, and more. And since there's more to mealtime than just the food, this innovative book also includes tips about how to involve kids in meal preparation, meaningful conversation starters, and simple ideas to bring warmth to your home.

MY REVIEW-I am the main person in our family who cooks. I like to make meals, and spending time in the kitchen is one of my favorite ways to unwind. Not saying it doesn't get hectic:) But I enjoy it. So when I was given the chance to review this next book, Food Family Style, I knew it was one I would like.

My favorite recipe out of it is the Bistro Tomato Basil Soup. I often get this at restaurants and I have searched for a recipe that would taste the same and haven't found one I really liked. Let me tell you, this one is delicious! I made it up for myself and had leftovers.

The main thing I like with this cookbook is the layout. It is easy to read, plenty of fun stories and the font is easy on the eyes. I do wish there were pictures but I can live without that. A lot of my cookbooks don't have pictures but it does make it nicer to see a finished recipe ahead of time. This is a cookbook I will be coming back to often and I have several recipes marked down to try out. Including the Peanut Butter Cookies that only have three ingredients! Talk about easy!! If you are a mother who is trying to find good, easy recipes, this is the cookbook you will want to pick up.

I received a copy of this book for review. I did not receive any monetary compensation. All thoughts are 100% mine.
