Fruit of My Spirit Book Review

In a memoir of missteps and misdeeds, Deanna Nowadnick writes of the hugeness of God's love and faithfulness. Reframing life in God's grace, she discovers an indescribable, indefinable, inexplicable love that has encircled her without fail through joyous, sad, cringe-worthy, heartwarming, forgettable, memorable moments in life. Fruit of My Spirit is for anyone who's ever questioned God's ability to love and forgive, who's ever wondered about their place in God's family or God's place in theirs. Nowadnick offers hope for those who dare to question, who secretly wonder, and who fear to ask. Through stories of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, you will experience the enormity of God, too.

MY REVIEW-All I can say to this book is, WOW! I have been reading this slowly and savoring the different ideas and aspects that are brought out in this amazing book. The whole idea of God's love being so big we can't even imagine the depth. You get Deanna's story and her love story. I am so in awe of this wonderful lady and how she has lived her life. No, she isn't perfect, but she wants to serve the Lord and this is something I respect. This is a story of a real person who has a real struggle just like we all do. But her story is amazing and the concept behind God's love is brought out so vividly.  This is an excellent book for any woman. Any woman at all! Not just those who need reassurance or those who need that reminder of God's love, but anybody. Loved it!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation. All thoughts are 100% mine.

Fruit of My Spirit continues to touch me--even a couple months after reading it. I find myself smiling or thoughtfully contemplating how God is using whatever situation I'm in to grow those seeds of joy, peace, patience....

I'm planning on giving Fruit of My Spirit for Christmas gifts. Giving this reflection to others is a present that is priceless and life-changing.
