Christmas Roses by Amanda Cabot Blog Tour

Celia Anderson doesn't need anything for Christmas except a few more boarders, which are hard to come by in this small mining town. She certainly doesn't have a husband on her Christmas wish list. But when a wandering carpenter finds lodging at her boarding house, she admits that she might remarry if she found the right man--the kind of man who would bring her roses for Christmas. It would take a miracle to get roses during a harsh Wyoming winter. But Christmas, after all, is the time for miracles . . .

Amanda Cabot invites readers to cozy up with a romantic, heartwarming tale of the greatest gift of all--love.

MY REVIEW- I have always enjoyed books written by Amanda Cabot. She has a way of writing sweet novels that make you smile and yearn for the old days. And believe me, Christmas Roses is no different! I loved this story and I felt like I was there with Celia in her little boarding home. She is a great heroine even though I found trouble with her at first dealing with her little one. The baby falls sick and she has no idea of what to do. I guess maybe I am used to being around children and knowing what to do but Celia kind of froze. But entirely believable for a new mother. And the hero?? Ahhh! A perfect gentleman who knows how to treat a lady. The whole thing of the christmas roses made me cry. Especially the ending. Beautiful christmas story!!

Available September 2012 at your favorite bookseller from Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group.

I'm delighted that you enjoyed Christmas Roses. And you're right: poor Celia had no experience with babies.
