Funny Yard Signs

Have you ever seen the funny security Yard Signs that are supposed to deter burglars? We travel quite a bit and I have run across many a yard sign, billboard, realtor signs, etc that really make you laugh and stick in your mind. Like the ones that have the german shepherd dogs on them and caution you, "I can make it to the gate in 3 seconds, can you?" Or the one that says "come in, our dogs could use a new bone". These are ones that are funny but the best one I have seen is the one that says, "go ahead, make my day." That one just strikes me as funny. Especially when they have a guard dog patrolling the yard. Of course, these can be really funny when you go up to the door and their guard dog happens to be a yorkie or pomeranian:) There are other good security signs though and they don't all deal with dogs. Like the one that has a human target with several bullet holes in it and says, "there is nothing inside worth dying for." And my favorite one tells the burglar, "My next door neighbor wants to ban all guns. Their house is not armed. Out of respect for their opinions I promise not to use my guns to protect them." Great one!

We have also run into the just plain funny signs. Whether it is spelling mistakes or a good sense of humor, these are some we have seen in passing. We saw a city park one time that had this sign out front. "This park is not a bank, don't let your pet leave a deposit." Funny and it gets the point across without being rude. Or the one outside a school that said, "we are committed to excellense." Really? You are teaching kids and you spell like that:) kind of like the one that said, "parking lot under police surveillance, do not leave valuables in parked vehicles." Haha!! Of course, the church sign that read, "Don't let your worries kill you, let the church help," was just as funny. If only people would read their sentence before they put it up.

Got any clean funny ones for me? I love reading them and so does everyone else.
