Going to College? Rent Your Textbooks!!

Hey everyone! How many of you are attending college or knows someone who is going to college? Well, I have found a really great website that not only will save you money but might even help in making some money. I am sure you remember last year when I posted about Campus Book Rentals. Well, it is that time of year again with school starting up and everyone getting ready for college this fall. They are coming up so fast!! Anyways, this site helps a lot in saving money in purchasing textbooks. Because you aren't purchasing them, but renting them! In other words you rent the ones you need and then return them when you are done. So say you need a book for music theory, such as this one Alfred's Essentials of Music Theory, all you have to do is pick your return date for how long you want it. The prices vary on how long you need it and how popular the book is. So this is definitely a site you can get a lot of good out of. But, they also have a new option as well:)

RentBack is the newest option! This enables you to rent the textbooks that you own with other students! So that book I talked about above? Maybe you own one of these and somebody else needs it so you can rent to them and make 2-4x as much money. This means you could be making money to help with fees and tuition, etc along with helping other students. It is a win-win situation.

The other thing I like with CampusBookRentals is their affiliation with Operation Smile. This is a group that gives back to the community. With every textbook rented, a donation is given to Operation Smile. If you or anyone you know is going to college and needs textbooks, I would urge you to check out these sites.

Oh boy, I wish I had college textbook rentals when I was in college. Books are so expensive.
