Purex No Sort for Colors Laundry Detergent Review & 3 Winner #Giveaway!

If you have been following my blog any amount of time, you know how much I love being a Purex Insider. Not only do I get to try out new products but I also get to share them with you all. And this time I am reviewing the No Sort for Colors Laundry Detergent. Did you get the meaning of that name? No sorting of colors from your whites? I could not wait to try this out and see how it did with my laundry.

Oh, and another reason I like being a Purex Insider? I get coupons for free product to giveaway to my readers!! There will be a 3 person giveaway here with each winner receiving one coupon for a free bottle of No Sort for Colors.

My package arrived and I couldn't wait to try out the new Purex detergent. In our family of eight we often have trouble with whites being turned pink. As much as I try to sort everything, invariably something gets colored that shouldn't be! I remember one time when we had just gone to the thrift store and found this beautiful blouse. And you guessed it, a white blouse. And normally I do laundry, sorting and taking out whites to wash separately. But this time, I had to go shopping or something and somebody else ran a load of clothing.

Want to take a guess at what happened? I am sure you all can figure it out but it came out looking like a pretty pink blouse:) Not really a bad thing but not exactly going to work with the outfit I wanted it to. So, this laundry detergent works perfectly in our household.

The first time I tried it I played it safe and just put in some white socks with the colors. Not that I don't trust it, but I wanted to see if it worked. And it did!! The socks came out just as white as they went in!! I was very impressed by how it cleaned and kept my whites protected. Now please, this isn't a miracle product so make sure to wash new pieces of clothing or strongly colored fabrics a couple times separately. But overall I have enjoyed being able to use it and not sort my colors.

Readers, Purex is also hosting a sweepstakes where somebody will win 1,000 and a year's supply of this new laundry detergent. Sounds good to me!! So go ahead and enter the Rules Have Changed Sweepstakes.

So, anyone interested in a giveaway? Three winners will each receive one coupon for a free bottle of the new Purex No Sort for Colors. This giveaway will end 4/28. Winners will be chosen through Random.org and will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be chosen. US ONLY!!

A nice bottle of bright red nail polish that went unnoticed....an explosion, some foul words, a garbage bag with a load of my daughter's clothes placed not so gently on the curb....

I used one of those detergent pods and parts of it stuck to my sweater and wouldn't come off no matter what. I ended up throwing out the sweater.

My daughter left her cell phone in her pocket. We only discovered it when the noise in the dryer was a pounding every time the drum flipped the phone so it crashed to the bottom of the dryer. Needless to say, my daughter got a new cell phone.

A red tee got in with the whites and I had pink everything.

I killed a green throw that was my grandma's by putting it in the dryer. It unraveled and shed thread and lint through the dryer. I had to throw the throw away and clean out the dryer.

I shrunk a wool sweater. It was pretty bad and afterward it fit an 8-year-old. Sigh. kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.

I threw a brand new shirt in the wash and it was 100 per cent cotton and I shrunk it-- Can't wear it now! (unless I shrink!)

I forgot that the colors in my woven tablecloths run. Washed them and tinted the entire load green.
