Goodman Revival may be a newly-formed trio, but each of its members is a seasoned Christian music veteran. Tanya Goodman Sykes, Michael Sykes and Johnny Minick have joined together to perform and record, capturing the musical styles and heritage that have endeared them to countless people around the world.

Known for their legacy as part of the legendary Happy Goodman Family, in addition to their own national awards and familiarity among the Gaither HOMECOMING family of artists, these three individuals have put their signature twist on some of gospel music’s timeless hits and Goodman classics with their recording debut, Songs In The Key Of Happy.

Eyes Of Jesus
Until You’ve Known The Love

MY REVIEW-Do any of you remember listening to the Happy Goodman family group from way back? I wasn't around when they were singing obviously, but I have heard their music and listened to their songs for a bit now. I enjoy some good rousing southern Gospel music that makes you think of the old days. That is exactly what this new cd here, Songs in the Key of Happy, does. I felt like I was listening to an old timey radio station:)

The trio is a new one but comprised of familiar faces. I found myself humming along to the songs and even singing with a few that I recognized. Some are toe tapping tunes while others are relaxing and comforting. I hadn't expected to enjoy the CD as much as I did as I prefer some of the newer groups I am familiar with. I was pleasantly surprised though and played the CD more than once on my trip:) It is definitely a trip down memory lane as you listen to the lyrics and harmony found on this album. I would urge you to pick this up in your local book store when it comes out in January! And if you enter, you just might win a copy here!

The CD releases January 15th but you can pre-order it online now. Make sure to check it out on the Family Christian Website.

This giveaway will end 1/1/15. Winner will be chosen through Random.org and will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be chosen. USA ONLY! Family Christian Stores will be mailing out your prize.

My favorite is either A Mighty Fortress, or It is Well.

Today.

Tomorrow I'd give a different answer.

I love The Old Rugged Cross. I grew up listening to the Goodmans! And I remember hearing my grandmother and my dad singing many of the songs listed on this CD. Sweet memories.
