Veggie Tales in the House With Netflix #Giveaway! @netflix

Hey everyone! A dreary rainy day here but at least it isn't that cold out. The weather outside is frightful but inside is a day for watching movies, reading books and enjoying a cup of something warm. That is where my company for today steps in. Have you ever wanted to sit the kids down and let them watch something family friendly while you were able to get stuff done around the house? I know I sure have. Have you ever heard of Netflix? I am sure you all have but as for me, I hadn't actually used it before. Needless to say after doing this review I was pretty impressed with the service. And of course, I got to watch Veggie Tales while doing it!

On Nov. 26, VeggieTales, the most popular faith-based children’s entertainment brand, unveils a brand-new Netflix original series for kids, VeggieTales In the HouseThe all-new series marks the first time in the 21-year history of VeggieTales that Bob, Larry and the veggie crew venture off the countertop for exciting new adventures, while remaining true to the values-driven storytelling that has long made VeggieTales such a beloved part of childhood.  The first five 22-minute episodes will be available for Netflix members in the US, Canada, Latin America, UK, Ireland, the Nordics, Benelux and France to watch instantly. “There’s a whole world that’s been right under our noses this whole time, and we can’t wait to see it,” said VeggieTales star Bob the Tomato. Echoed Larry the Cucumber: “The sweet potatoes are so excited, they don’t even know where to starch!”
In VeggieTales In the House, the veggies will take on a new, refreshed look as DreamWorks Animation puts its creative muscle behind the beloved faith-based brand.  VeggieTales creator Big Idea became part of DreamWorks in 2012 as part of the studio’s acquisition of Classic Media“We’re excited to give the beloved VeggieTales a brand new adventure,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President, Original Content, Netflix.  “For many of our 53 million members worldwide, this will be the first time they’ve been introduced to the world’s most entertaining vegetables.  We hope many more families become fans of this wholesome preschool series.”
In each 22-minute episode of VeggieTales In the House, two separate 11-minute stories impart important life lessons, designed to please both young viewers and longtime fans of the VeggieTalesbrand. Every episode also includes brand-new songs and, of course, the famous closing phrase that has been at the heart of VeggieTales from the beginning: “God made you special, and He loves you very much.”

Now the Veggie Tales new series features them for the first time venturing outside the boundaries of the house. This premiered on the 26th of November and the series is available for streaming from Netflix. Veggie Tales is something that we don't normally watch as a family, but this time I sat down and watched these episodes for fun. Yep, you heard me right:) Who can resist the silly songs sung by dancing veggies and the important lessons included in the short episodes? These were fun and interesting and I enjoyed them more than the normal programs. My favorite one was the second part of episode 3-Trading Places. These are quite fun and I think children all over the world will love watching them.

How about you all? Have you ever used Netflix before? This streaming program works great to watch movies, tv shows, etc. I found some wonderful movies that I haven't been able to see and some other favorites. This giveaway is going to be great for those who love Netflix or those who haven't used this website at all. Did you know you have the ability to stream through your laptop, tablet, Wii, etc? That way the whole family can watch!! Anyways, back to the giveaway. One winner will receive a 3 month subscription to Netflix. You can apply this to an existing account or start a new one! Giveaway will end 12/19 and winner will be chosen through Random.org. They will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be picked.
