Bible Teaching with What's In the Bible DVD Series!! + $10 Certificate #Giveaway! #FCbloggers

This is a post written in conjunction with Family Christian Stores. All thoughts are 100% mine.

With a family of eight we are always on the lookout for programs that will teach good Biblical lessons. The age ranges in our house go from tween to late teens so what one child finds interesting another looks at as being too childish or immature. Needless to say I have found a DVD series called What's in the Bible that may be for the younger ones, but all the children love watching it:)

This series is really amazing. Not only is it interesting but it literally brings everything down to a lower level where the little ones can understand the timeline of the Bible, history, hard words, etc. Thirteen dvd's that go through everything from Genesis to Revelation and includes all the important events in the Bible. There is music and singing(yes, they sing along:), puppets who talk and teach, and the host Phil Vischer who you might recognize as the creator of Veggie Tales.

This DVD is Volume 10, Jesus is the Good News. You all know what that means?? It is the beginning of the new testament and tells the story of Jesus, John the Baptist, prophecy, etc. I seriously love how in-depth these films are. The puppets ask questions and Phil Vischer answers in story format. Things like the Dead Sea Scrolls and how they came about, Jesus being baptized, being tempted by Satan, etc. Words are brought up that are then explained in detail but on a level everyone can understand. The songs that are included will have your children learning moral lessons to music and if they sing them it will stick in their head for future reference.

This is something I would urge parents, grandparents, librarians, church leadership, etc to look into purchasing. These are excellent for young people and I love how they teach while making it fun.

One of you will be winning a $10 Family Christian Stores gift certificate. This can be used online or in store. Great to buy something as a gift or a little extra for yourself. USA ONLY. Giveaway ends 1/20 and winner will be chosen through Random.org. They will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be picked.

Believe it or not, my son's favorite Bible program is Perry Stone. He is an adult speaker with very deep sermons, but he pays attention to the whole thing.
