MY REVIEW-The Royal Wedding Series by Rachel Hauck has quickly become one of my favorites this past year. Princess stories have always had a draw for women of all ages and walks of life and recently there has been quite a boatload of them coming out in the Christian world. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite but I think it would have to be this series here. Rachel writes fairy tale stories that whisk the reader away to distant lands. This book was probably my least favorite of the three, but still a wonderful one!
This is the third and last book in the trilogy and I have such a heavy heart over it. You feel like you know these people and the characters become friends who you want to see on a daily basis. I love the southern regal ladies but I think I fell in love with the people of Brighton. Yes, an imaginary land, but I so wished to fall through a crack and become part of this country:) The storyline is well written and though I had a hard time at first with how callous Stephen was I eventually grew to understand his choices and why he did the things he did. Corina is sweet but at times I felt like she let him walk all over her. One thing that was different in this book than the others was the "guardians" who help Corina and Stephen. Overall a wonderful book and I am sad to see them go but I know Rachel will be delighting her readers with a new series soon!
