CHRISTMAS COMES TO LITTLE HICKMAN CREEK

MY THOUGHTS- I am a person who likes a good Christmas novel. And while Sharlene MacLaren is a favorite author of mine, I believe this is her first Christmas story. Rather small compared to her normal books, I thoroughly enjoyed it, plus I got to visit Hickman Creek again. The story is a touching one and really brings to light how hard Christmas time is for some people. Those who have lost loved ones, especially a spouse as Sadie Bennett has. There is a thread throughout though of healing. If I had to use one word for this book, it would definitely be healing. Only problem? The length of the story leaves you really wanting more. A super read for the holiday season!
