2016 HGG Book Lover Round-up

2016 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE
BOOKS GALORE!

This post for my gift guide is going to include several different books. We all know that books make excellent gifts, after all, who doesn't enjoy a good story or a biography? If there are people out there who don't like books, I just don't want to meet. Just kidding! But really, books are a big part of my life and I can't imagine my world without them. I want to showcase a few that were sent for my review, and there is quite an array and different genres. Enjoy!

All You Need is Love and A Cat

All You Need Is Love…and a Cat shares 50 doodle art images of inspiring proverbs, quotes, and sayings printed on one side of the page for all ages to color.
Quotes from famous authors include Robert Byrne, Charles Dickens, Robert A. Heinlein, Abraham Lincoln, Edgar Allen Poe, and Mark Twain. The book also includes proverbs and sayings from “Behind every great person is a great cat,” “Dogs have owners, cats have staff,” and “If stretching were wealth the cat would be rich” to “The cat is magical and the bringer of good luck” and “You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats.”
Each doodle art image has been carefully selected to provide plenty of enjoyment, inspiration, and relaxation.
This one was quite fun and would make someone very happy. You see, it is really a coloring book! This is for adults, some of the quotes are more adult oriented, but I could see an older teenager enjoying it as well. Very nice with stylish designs and sketches that pop!

Workouts From Boxing's Greatest Champs

Now for a book that the guys will love! I personally didn't use this one, but I did look through it and am sure my father will enjoy it. He is big on boxing, Rocky is one of his favorite movies, so I know this will be a great gift for him. There is everything from pictures with techniques, to tips and suggestions on what worked for them. A tall book, not very thick, but excellent for those wanting to learn more about how to box.

WomanSkills

Talk about a fun and entertaining book! WomanSkills is from author Erin La Rosa and boy is it good. This is kind of a go-to guide for anything a woman could find herself facing. Whether it is a bad hair day, perfume applied to liberally, hanging curtains, ending a relationship nicely, or making natural deodorant. A nice handy size, you can read through this easily, but I have a feeling you will keep coming back to it for answers.
