What to do When Promo Codes are Elusive?

Hey there everyone! I apologize for not posting as frequently these past couple weeks, been very busy and had a lot of things going on. But don't worry, I am going to be back sharing my reviews and thoughts on life again. And today I want to talk with you about coupons, mainly online promo codes. As a woman who tries to save money on everything I buy, coupons are one of my favorite ways to be thrifty. After all, who doesn't love saving money?

But, how many of you have ever gone looking for a promo code  to use and can't find one? I know I sure have! You go to a website and find something you like, only to want a coupon and you search and search to no avail? Especially the companies who rarely ever share codes with their faithful customers. One such store is Keurig. Take a look at how I was able to find a promo code, even with searching through plenty of sites.

When I go shopping, I always search for a promo code. Such as Keurig, we have needed a new machine for a while and I was interested in finding the best price I could, obviously using promo codes or a sale. So I went to the Keurig website, and found the machine I was most wanting to purchase. So next up was finding a promo code that I would be able to apply to my purchase. Obviously a code that is a site wide percentage off works best, or off a certain product.

If you google Keurig promo code, there are some results that will pull up. I clicked on the first one, just because I am wanting to be quick and spending as little time as possible searching. After all, time is money.  The first one was RetailMeNot. Their site is reasonably easy to navigate, and the top coupon they had was free shipping if I signed up for their email services. A good option, but not anything great.

My next click brought me to Coupons.com, a site I haven't really browsed before but it was the second option. Their top promo code was not a big one for me, again. Free shipping and a percentage off of tea.

My next click was to Dealspotr. And it was here that I found the promo code I was able to use. A 20% off code for the entire Keurig website. This means I can use it on anything on their site, definitely a wonderful coupon for me. But, what if it doesn't work or has expired? This site also allows me to see what codes have worked for other shoppers, as well as the success rate. That is one major issue I have had with other deal sites, I find a promo code and then go to use it and it won't work! Nothing more aggravating than getting hyped up over a coupon code and it is a dud. With Dealspotr I am able to see how many others have used it and how long ago. That is definitely a big plus in my book.

So you have found a promo code you would like to use, and where do you go from there? Just click on the button of the one you will be using where it says promo code.

It will open another tab where you copy the code, jump right back over to the company website, and enter your promo code.

Once that is in the spot it should be, I hit apply, and voila! My code was applied and worked! So I got my percentage off, on the machine that I wanted to purchase.
