Traveling? Try the New SitORSquat App from Charmin + #Giveaway! #SitORSquat

Well, this week is off to a good start, weather is rainy today but not too bad. With Labor Day weekend coming up, people are going to be hitting the roads for a bit of a vacation, or even a short trip visiting friends and relatives. I will be staying close here, getting together with friends and having a good meal. But, for those of you traveling, I wanted to tell you about this fun and very informative app from Charmin. Believe me, if you are on the road at all, you will want to install it.

Now, are you ready for the name of it? This is what makes the app fun and appealing to me, it is called, SitORSquat. I literally cracked up when I first saw it. But, in all reality this is an app that I have downloaded and installed, and it will definitely come in handy when I travel, which I do quite frequently. The whole idea behind the  is that is will find a restroom when you need it. It will search anywhere near you, or you can plan for an upcoming trip and see where you want to pull off.

And get this, you can rate and review the bathrooms! Say you stop at one that isn't quite up to par, toilet paper spread everywhere, tinkle on the seats, or just overall not tidy. You can leave a rating and then a detailed review on what was wrong at that stop. But if you end up finding the most sparkling, tidy bathroom ever? Then be sure to leave a review for those as well so other families can find the good ones when they are traveling.

Now, Charmin is being amazing and allowing me to host a giveaway where one of my readers will win two packs of Charmin Essentials. And we all know that everyone needs toilet tissue, so this is a great giveaway. As always, winner will be chosen through Random.org, and will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be chosen. USA only. Giveaway will end 9/14 and fulfillment is handled by Charmin.

I can't say I ever had a funny story about locating a bathroom, never had the need to find one when out and about for the most part.

I remember my mom needing surgery when I was 5 and my dad had to take me to a public bathroom at the community pool. He had never had to take me to a public bathroom before and he was very weirded out.

We take long road trips each summer and we've discovered which types of places have the best (not horribly bad) restrooms. although last summer we were surprised that the cleanest one we stopped at on the road was a gas station who was in some kind of clean restroom contest :)

I was at walmart and had to go, I scurried to the front of the store only to find out that they were being cleaned. You should have seen me sprinting to the restrooms at the back of the store.

While camping out at a state park, I got up in the middle of the night to head to the bathroom. I took off to where I thought the bathroom was, only to get lost. I had gotten turned around and had to backtrack. That was a long walk!

I remember going camping with my family when my sister and i were about 5 years old. The bathroom was close to the tent and my sister got up to go to the bathroom. I few minutes went by and i noticed she had not come back yet so i went to go find her and that's when my mom got up and found out she was not there. She flipped out and was in panic mode. She was asking everyone around and they asked what she looked liked. She picked me up and said she looks just like her. We were twins. We found her a few campsites down, she was there eating their cookies they had left on the table.

I was at a NASCAR race and it started raining. We got in our truck and sat there for a while. I had to use the bathroom, so I just peed in a large cup, in the car.

Great app! The worst restroom we have ever came across was in West Virginia (if I remember right!). It used recycled mineral oil instead of water to flush -and stunk to high heaven!

When we arrived at our campsite, we discovered that the bathrooms were closed due to low water. That was not fun.

When we are on the road it always seems to happen after we just passed the last rest station for 30 plus miles

Going to an outdoor concert for the first time with my daughter. We were just running around trying to find a restroom and it was crazy because we ended up getting stuck in one of the stalls!

We were at a local festival for fireworks and got a great viewing spot but forgot to consider restroom facilities for a toddler. She was potty trained but her younger brother was not, so when she had to go I put a diaper on her. She wasn't happy, but it worked out!

We travel to Va from GA several times a year, stopping at rest stops along the way. Once when my oldest daughter was around 4 years old we stopped at a rest stop to use the bathroom and we got locked in a stall the door got jammed and we couldn't get out, and this was not a popular rest stop so there was no one else there, eventually we crawled under the door, yes both of us, it was very funny.

Once my son had to use the restroom and the only one available was the ladies room. He cried and cried, and kept saying LOUDLY "I am not a girl, I do not belong in a girls bathroom, I can go to JAIL!" I was so embarrassed, but the other ladies just laughed and thought he was so cute!

I grew up in KY when i was a kid if we went anywhere it was usually a 30 minute drive. If we were going to somewhere important or some family event it was always a lot longer than that. I can remember having to pee on the side of the road two or three times. It is/was totally embarrassing !!
