Disney Live! #Review #DisneyLive! @DisneyLive

A big thank you to Feld Entertainment for the complimentary media passes to view this attraction.

This afternoon we had the great opportunity of attending a show known as Disney Live! in Athens, Georgia. We arrived early so we would have plenty of time to park and look around before the show started. The doors to the lobby open an hour early and then the theater actually opens 30 minutes prior to the start. Now a certain little 5 year old was very excited about this program, even though the only thing she knew is that it was something about Disney. Believe me, she absolutely loved this!

The seats we got were excellent, right in the middle and high enough that we could see every aspect of the show. The lights dimmed roughly 10 minutes prior and you could feel the excitement in the room building. And then.....

There is an intermission a little over halfway through the program, and it gives you enough time to stand up, stretch your legs or even go get a bite to eat. There are people wandering the auditorium with popcorn and lighted toys for sale, or the lobby offers snow cones, trinkets to take home, snacks, and cups that your children or grandchildren will love. And then the lights dimmed again and we got ready for the last part of the show.

I will tell you this, B had an amazing time. She loved every part of it, other than one time when she got scared because of the dark room, and the smile on her face just grew by the minute. And her favorite part was when Jessie and Woody came out doing jump rope. She is quite enthralled with gymnastics and this portion of the show made her laugh and be overjoyed. And of course, Rapunzel. She is a fan of Tangled so that part was another favorite. Her only question? Why didn't they have Anna and Elsa? The only drawback I felt that the show had was the smell. Those who are sensitive to scents just be careful. I didn't have a problem with it, but I noticed several in the seating area who said something about the smell of the powder they use with the sparklers and flashes of light. Otherwise, this was an absolute gem of a show.

If this program is in your area, or even a bit of a drive, it is well worth it. Take the time and order your tickets now, your children and grandchildren will love you for it. I have to admit, even I enjoyed it.
