Lady In Waiting Costume Review

I have to tell you, one thing little girls like to do is play dress up. Costumes are one thing the kids love around here. Whether they sit down and play tea party, play house, or just have a fun time dressing in different costumes. That is why one place I like to shop at is Costume Super Center. They have a lot of costumes at good prices. I also like that they have a blogger program where I can review costumes! Believe me, the girls love this aspect of my blogging:)

Just recently M received the Lady in Waiting Costume for review. She has started reading some of Shakespeare and thought this would be a good costume so she can act out her part. She has to be in mode for this you know:) The costume arrived in good time and she couldn't wait to open it. Bad thing was she was gone for the day and didn't get it until the next day. This costume is very rich in color and the green is just gorgeous. I thought it complimented her blond hair very nicely. As you can see, she is trying to keep the evil boys from her room!

This is a good material and feels almost like a velvet. I know it isn't but still has that nice touch. M was overjoyed with it and put it on right away. The size was just a tad big but she is at that stage of still growing so it will last for a little bit. The only thing I didn't like was that the gold tassel on the front started coming off. The first one broke within minutes of her putting it on and the rest have slowly come off. I have tried sewing them back on and they don't stay so we just cut them all off. This is nothing major as she is only using this for play and it is probably a defect but I wanted to mention it. None of the other costumes we have received from Costume Super Center have done this. No tears, rips, etc so I think this is just a fluke.

Anyways, M loves this and will be using it for a while still. She often has friends over and they all share in playing dress up. As you can see, she has to get in the part and do her hair as well:) Overall this is a great costume that she will be playing with for months yet. And once she outgrows it, I am sure it will be passed to one of her friends to play with. We recently had a little girl over who stayed in the room for hours playing dress up and changing outfits. Amazing how girls still like the princess aspect!

So, if you are searching for a costume, whether for dress up, a costume party, etc. I would check out this website. Costume Super Center is a great place. I would urge you to be careful as some of the costumes are a bit more than I would want the little guys seeing. Just keep that in mind as you browse.

I received product from Costume Super Center for review purposes. I did not receive any monetary compensation. All thoughts are 100% mine.
