My Weight Loss Journey & Juice

Good morning all! I am on a trip right now but knew I couldn't leave my readers without something to pass the time:) Today I am going to be talking about my weigh loss journey. I am not really on a specific diet, but it is more of a eating better, exercising more and just being overall more healthy. There are some things I have found that have helped me on my journey and I wanted to share some of them with you. Also wanted to mention a great drink here, Xango Juice. This is something I have never tried but I have heard it does wonders for a diet and feeling better.

So far I have lost about 10 pounds over the last three months. This is not a great amount, but I don't want to do a crash diet and then gain it all back once I stop eating the special foods or pills, etc. I have seen people who do the crazy diets where they play with your hormones and I don't want to do something like that. Maybe it works for you, but I prefer to go slow and keep it off. During this time I have also dropped one size which again, is not much but I am feeling better and working out more. I have three things that have really worked for me and I will tell you about them here.

My favorite part about weight loss is actually exercising. I know it sounds odd, but I have gotten to the point where I enjoy sweating, excuse me, perspiring and getting all crazy as I work out:) For the longest time I just did my one mile walk in the morning and left it at that. But I found I wasn't losing anything, I did when I wanted to but it was not a major part of my day. Then I started doing the harder workouts. Things like a 3 mile walk using stretch bands, doing the Biggest Loser dvd programs, etc. Push yourself and see the pounds drop off and you will feel better as well.

The other two things have to do with your diet. Eating and drinking water. Use portion control and watch what you eat. I love bringing healthy snacks like carrots, nuts, apples with peanut butter, etc. And the last thing is to drink a lot of water. Many people don't drink half the amount of water they are supposed to.

Hope this encourages you in your weight loss journey. And if you want any more info on what I am doing, please email me. I would love to hear your tips as well!
