MY THOUGHTS-Well, this is a book I had kind of mixed thoughts about. I enjoy some Biblical novels but others I just can't stand. I think this one was in the middle. I liked parts of it, and I think that it was interesting, but there were also parts I think there was some liberty taken. You know how it is with a novel about someone in Bible times. There is not a whole lot in the Bible about them so to make a 300 page book. I do have to say, there were some great parts in here though. When you think about the title it opens up a whole new way of seeing things. I mean think about it. Jesus weeps for one person in the scriptures. And that person is Lazarus. He wept for Jerusalem and we know He showed emotion at other times, but this short verse in Scripture shows so much!! That part of the Bible will be opened up like you have never seen it before. So overall a good book. I enjoyed it and will be looking forward to the next one.
