Blog Tour for When a Secret Kills!! Thrilling Suspense from Lynette Eason!

She's come home to put a killer behind bars.
But the killer plans to put her six feet under.

Investigative reporter Jillian Carter knows it's time to put the past to rest. She's tired of looking over her shoulder, letting a killer go free. She's no longer the scared kid who changed her name and disappeared. Now, no matter what the cost, Jillian must do what she is trained to do--find the truth and expose it. And the truth is that Senator Frank Hoffman committed murder ten years ago--and Jillian watched it happen.Didn't she?

MY REVIEW-Wow! What a superb conclusion to the Deadly Reunions series. I was soooo waiting for this book and it was a great ending. I liked the other two but this was my favorite by far, if I had to pick a favorite:) So much wraps up in this and I hate to see them all go.

I would strongly urge you to read the first two books in the series. It is not a must-do, but it will very much help you arrange characters and what is going on. At the beg. of the first book something dreadful happened and Jillian disappeared from the high school prom. Now fast forward 10 years and you find out what actually happened that night. She saw the Senator murder a man and has been on the run ever since. Of course, the Senator also happens to be the uncle of the man she loves. And has a child with. You also get to meet the man she loves, Colton. I really loved both of them and they played well off each other. He is now the strong agent who will protect those he loves, even if it means going against his uncle, as much as he dislikes that.

There is a lot of mystery in this book and the ending was quite strong. You think you have the bad guy figured out and then BAM! Lynette throws you for a curve. I was to the point of getting antsy when this guy kept trying to kill Jillian and just barely missing her. Oh, and I totally loved Blake! He is such a sweetheart and I am just hoping he might pop up in another book? Meg is one person I had a hard time with. I understand little girl and how she may not know what is going on, but there were times I just couldn't believe what she did. She was adorable with Colton though.

So definitely a good book and one that made it to my keeper shelf. I am kind of hard on my books so for this one to make the final cut means it was pretty good. If you enjoy a good mystery that is clean and spins a lot of turns, this is the one for you. Can't wait for the next series from Lynette!
