Kazaz! by American Story Channel Learning App!! @KazazKids

I recently had the opportunity to review another app. This one is called Kazaz! and it was launched by the American Story Channel. The basic concept of this app is helping children learn to read by having them interact with stories on the electronics.

I downloaded it and within minutes had some children around me wondering what it was. Needless to say, they could sit for hours playing with this app!! The free story is about a planet floating in space who has no friends. Then along comes a fireball and guess what happens? You never knew that planets could make friends did you? Because that is exactly what takes place in this amusing story for children.

I like the interactive aspect to the Kazaz! app. It reads the story out loud, page-by-page, and on each page the children can touch things to make noises, things move or fly, etc. I expected just a book that you could read but this is so much more. It makes it fun and interesting in a way that most reading apps don't. I would suggest this for younger children, maybe around 4-6? Depending on the maturity level this could be used for even younger ones as well. They may not even understand what they are doing but it will help them pick things up.

For those of you interested in downloading Kazaz!, please follow the links. Parts of it are free but you can also purchase other stories. You can also follow them on their social media sites Twitter and Facebook.
