ButcherBox #Review with Recipe Installment 2 @butcherbox

For those of you who are seeing this post before the other, make sure to go back and read my first installment for ButcherBox. This place is amazing and I loved the box, or rather bag, of fresh grass-fed beef. Today I want to jump right into my review though with the recipes, etc.

For the pork chops I actually made them all, cooked one way and then did something completely different with them the next night. So the first night we marinated them and tossed them on the grill. Super tender, juicy and very tasty.

The taste was just great. So for the second night we sliced them up, put BBQ sauce on them and fried them on the stove. And if it could even be possible, they tasted even better.

The BBQ sauce almost turned into a glaze since we had them in a skillet, and slicing them just made them so tender.

The last recipe I am going to share today is what I made with the ground beef. And I would be hard pressed to decide on which I liked better, this or the Colorful Chicken Alfredo.

Beefy Pasta Bake

1 lb Ground Beef
dash of olive oil
Minced Garlic
Chopped onion
1 lb Rigatoni (I used large shell)
1 jar Garlic Alfredo Sauce
1 Jar Roasted Garlic Spaghetti
16 oz Mozzarella Cheese

I took the ground beef and cooked it with the minced garlic and chopped onion. You can also add plenty of herbs, I used an italian herb mixture. While the meat is cooking, fix the pasta as normal, and I added a dash of olive oil in the water.

When the ground beef is finished, drain and set to the side. After the pasta is cooked al dente, drain and put back in the pot. Add both jars of pasta sauce, yes it looks like a lot but it bakes up great.

Add the ground beef and mix all together.

Pour into a baking dish, you might need to use two of them because this makes a lot, and then cover liberally with the mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 350* until the cheese is melted, then serve with a garden salad and garlic toast.

All I can say is that after eating this for dinner, we pulled it out again later that evening as a snack, plus there was enough for leftovers the next day. It had so much good flavor, I can't even explain how much we enjoyed this. Like I said, hard pressed to pick between this one and the Colorful Chicken Alfredo.

So, I might be writing another post with more recipes after I cook some more, but wanted to share these ones right now. I have really enjoyed my shipment from ButcherBox, and this meat is the freshest I have ever tasted. Loved trying out new recipes and fixing all different things.

As always, be sure to check out ButcherBox on their social media channels and if you are wanting to order some grass-fed beef, delivered straight to your door, this is the place to go.
