I don't know about you, but personally I am very ready for summer to make it's appearance. Seems it goes from hot enough to wear short sleeves one day and then the next day it is cold enough to don my jacket and long sleeves. Makes it hard to appreciate ice cream but sometimes? You just crave it enough to brave the weather no matter the temperature! And when Sonic is promoting their Summer Nights? Definitely have to make time for a stop at your local drive-in and enjoy a shake, float or ice cream slush.
I couldn't wait to drop in at my Sonic and when I did, I made sure to do it after 8 PM when their shakes, floats and ice cream slushes are half off. Yep, you heard that right, during their Summer Nights promotion you get half off any of those. And the others in the vehicle enjoyed their ice cream as well, though they opted for a sundae instead.
My root beer float was amazing! My number one pet peeve with floats is that most restaurants do not give you enough soda, you end up with way more ice cream than you do soda, but this one was excellent and just right. And of course, I don't think you can beat Sonic as far as ice cream. Their vanilla ice cream is just great.
If you are in the mood for a good shake or float, make sure to swing by Sonic. You can't beat that price and the quality of ice cream and soda is well worth the stop.
