Wow! That is the main thing I came away with after reviewing my newest product. Get Ripped by Jari Love is one of those exercise workouts that makes you sit up and take notice. I want you all to understand one thing before I get into my review. I exercise daily. On a regular basis I do a workout 5 days a week, unless something has come up and I am going out of town, got sick, etc. I do a cardio program but I also use light weights with this and then other weight training as well. So I am not a beginner in this. But let me tell you, I felt like one after doing the Get Ripped DVD!!
The workout features a lot of weight training along with cardio. But the main focus is weights. The first time I did this I didn't use any weights at all, I just did the workout using body weight. Then the second time I used my weighted gloves and I finally did it with my regular hand weights. But they are still lighter than any of the weights being used by the people on this team. You can use either dumb-bells or the bar but they do have different people using different amounts.
Overall a good workout. Definitely not for a beginner though. Even doing this after a week or so, I was out of breath after getting through it. I know it will get easier as I do it more but it was hard. So if you are up to a good workout, go check out the Jari Love website or even the Get Ripped Bootcamp.
