I had to tell you all about something I just found out about. I am a big sweet tea drinker. Occasionally I will drink un-sweetened tea but as a southerner, sweet tea is my thang:) Well, this company, can you guess what they are called, Sweet Leaf Tea, contacted me about a new contest they have running right now and asked if I would tell all my blog readers about it. First I will tell you a little about Sweet Leaf Tea.
They were founded in 1998 and they are one of the fastest growing beverage companies in the United States. That was very neat to me that a tea company is one of the fastest growing. Shows me that the US is not all soda drinkers:) AND, their products are made using all natural ingredients, including purified water, pure cane sugar and high-quality organic tea leaves. They are available nationwide.
Now, on to the contest:) I know you all are excited. Or you will be after you hear about this!
This summer, Sweet Leaf Tea is putting forth a call to action for tea lovers across the nation as they introduce the Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot. This is an interactive digital campaign!! It began July 1st and ends October 10th. This is basically a contest where fans interact with the company by submitting a photo of their "SweetLeafSweetSpot". In turn, they will have the chance to win big prizes!! The two big prizes are VIP trips to either Lollapalooza or the Austin City Limits (ACL) music festivals. This is a complete VIP trip!! The other prizes include a years supply of Sweet Leaf Tea, a case of tea and a Sweet Leaf Tea Epiphone guitar.
To enter this contest, you will have to use Twitter to submit a picture of where you like to enjoy Sweet Leaf Tea using the hashtag #sweetleafsweetspot followed by your state hashtag (example #TX), or through the contest website. Then Sweet Leaf will respond with a link for that certain photo. And the contestants job now, is to encourage people to vote for them in the form of 'retweets' or Facebook 'likes'. Now that sounds like fun!!
Now, for the full details and all the extras, please check out their Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot site. They can also be found on Twitter and Facebook.
